Creating living spaces in another person’s home is a unique and personal task, one that I do not take lightly. This is someone else’s home, nest, abode, place of comfort & rest and family memories. Maybe its because I am to my core a creative person, but I remember vividly the houses and surroundings in which memories were made growing up.

The heavily carved deep pink velvet antique chaise that I adored at my grandparents house, my chosen spot to sleep for my week long visit just because I felt like a princess. Thinking about it now, I laugh because it was so out of place with all the other heavily 70’s chenille floral pattern furniture in the room closed in by wood paneled walls, but nevertheless, it was my favorite.

When designing for a client I look for insight into what you need from your space, keeping in mind use, functionality and purpose while analyzing the physical mathematics of space and scale …. but then my creative side will take over! I thrive on taking those elements to an individual perfection of visual appeal. I love to get to know my clients so I can create a space that feels curated especially for their taste and style.
